RE: Main Street Toccoa Brings The Wobblers to Ida Cox Music Series
TOCCOA, GA, August 14, 2023– Two shows remain in this summer’s Ida Cox Music Series. This week will feature The Wobblers. The Wobblers are an eight-piece, genre defying, roots band based in the Upstate of South Carolina. Formed in 2012, the band takes you on a genre trip around the spectrum while always delivering a high energy professional show.
Opening the night on Saturday will be the Toccoa-based duo of Rock N Earl. They will kick off the music at 7pm with The Wobblers taking the stage from 8-10pm.
The event will be held rain or shine. In the event of rain, the show will be relocated to The Historic Ritz Theatre.
The remainder of the 2023 season includes:
August 19 – The Wobblers (Opening Act – Rock N Earl)
August 26 - Milkshake Mayfield
The Ida Cox Music Series, named after famed Toccoan Blues musician, Ida Cox, features free music in Downtown Toccoa every Saturday in June, July, and August. The music starts at 7:00 pm and the series lasts until approximately 10:00 pm each Saturday night. Bring a lawn chair to Downtown Toccoa and enjoy live music, food, and drink in a relaxing atmosphere.
