Currahee Street Beautification Funding

Currahee Street serves as the gateway into Historic Downtown Toccoa. Because of this, the City of Toccoa is providing grant funding to any Currahee Street project that will improve the visibility of the property in question. A few facts include:

• This grant fund is open only to projects on Currahee Street or other properties as determined by the DDA in recognition of the beautification interests of the City Commission.
• Properties in the Downtown Toccoa Historic District may make use of only one funding source: Facade Grant OR Currahee Street Beautification Grant
• Project allowances are based on 50% of the total beautification project costs, with a maximum of $5,000 allocated per project.

Documentation of costs and before/after photographs are required.
Work must be pre-approved by the DDA.
