Commemorating Toccoa's 150th Anniversary: The completion of the Tugalo Street Greenspace this Summer 2024 will coincide with the 150th Anniversary of the City of Toccoa's charter in 1874. This is a very special year for Toccoa, and the creation of this park will stand as a testament to our rich history, vibrant present, and the promising future we envision together. What better way to commemorate this moment in history than with a beautiful greenspace?

Make Your Mark, Leave A Legacy
Toccoa's Downtown Development Authority, in partnership with Main Street Toccoa, is excited to launch the Tugalo Street Greenspace Fundraising Campaign. There are multiple ways to be involved, including buying a personalized engraved brick, sponsoring benches, or making a donation towards the park.

There are multiple ways to get involved...

• Purchase an Engraved Brick - $100
  Each brick will be proudly displayed in the plaza, making a statement in time that honors the past, commemorates the present, and envisions the future. Whether you want to honor a family or loved one, surprise a grandchild, or display your own family or business name to show your dedication to your local community, an engraved brick is the perfect gift that keeps giving for generations to come.
• Local Advocate: $500 - $1,000 Donation
  This tier represents the beginning foundation of support, and donors at this level earn the honor of having their names featured on a plaque, symbolizing their role as local advocates of community support.
• Downtown Steward: $1,000 - $3,000 Donation
  Donors at this tier contribute to the growth and beauty of the downtown park by sponsoring trees, embodying the essence of quality of life & vitality in the community. Donor names will be featured on a dedicated plaque.
• Community Champion: Donations of $5,000 or More 
  The highest and most prestigious tier, donors at this level sponsor park furnishings such as benches, wastebins, and picnic tables, leaving a lasting legacy of comfort and community gathering spaces in the downtown park. Donor names will be featured on dedicated plaques with the specified furniture piece.

When is the deadline to order a brick?
March 15, 2024

How do I test out my engraved message?
The engraving company has a "digital viewer" to preview your message, linked below. Be sure to select Text Only, 4x8 Paver, Regimental Red, with Arial Italic Font. All of the bricks will be engraved in this style. Each brick allows for 3 lines of text with 18 characters per line. Come back to this website to complete check out. 

How can I pay for my brick with a card?
Click the link below or call us to process payments over phone.

How can I pay for my brick with cash or check?
Come by City Hall to fill out a form & make a payment in person, or visit the website to submit the form online. You can mail your payment to Main Street Toccoa in City Hall.

What do I do after I order?
You're all done! We'll send out updates on the progress of the park and let you know once your brick is in the ground. The Grand Opening will take place this summer, so every brick donor will receive a personal invitation to attend.
